Prepared Feeding - Infant Feeding Course

Feeding Your Baby

Breastfeeding is wonderful for your baby and can be an incredible experience for you both. In this course, Amanda Devereux, RN, IBCLC, walks you through everything from gathering supplies, getting a great first latch, trouble shooting some common issues, and takes you all the way to pumping and introducing a bottle.

This Isn't Your Hospital Breastfeeding Class

Prepared Feeding goes beyond the basics of breastfeeding and even those experienced in breastfeeding will learn more!

Topics Include:
  • establishing the first latch to set a great foundation
  • breastfeeding positions
  • connecting position and latch
  • feeding well in your baby's first days
  • interventions
  • feeding rhythms
  • caring for nipples and breasts
  • pumping and milk storage
  • healthy bottle feeding

The Right Class For Any Feeding Goals

There's no argument to be made, breastmilk is the best food for babies and formula is good science. About 10% of women will have difficulty with supply related to breast development or other conditions. And, how you feed your baby is a parenting decision. Every bit of breastmilk your baby gets is beneficial and perfect. Parents can have different feeding goals, and that's okay.  We are here to support you to meet YOUR feeding goals.
